Example Problems
There is a major problem presented to you, and everyone needs you to come up with an answer. Do you have it? What is your answer?
Look at the situations below. These problems are how we will start the course. Don't look at me odd. This is about life. This is what you desire in a course. Here you go. There will be a separate lecture for each problem. Just look at them for now.
Situation 1: Imagine you are at an important group meeting. You have to find a way to generate more revenue for your job. How do you do it?
Situation 2: You have to display a PowerPoint presentation, but the technology is glitchy during the presentation. What strategies can you employ to solve the problem?
Situation 3: You are reading a complicated novel, and you are bad at remembering what is going on right now. The test is in two weeks, and you need a game plan. What do you do?
Situation 4: You are at a spiritual prayer meeting (or group counseling session, depending on the situation), and you are new to the group. You are not sure what to say. Should you be authentic or just roll with what you think others want to hear?
Situation 5: Your best friend went to jail, and now you are being interrogated by the police. This can't get any worse, can it?
Situation 6: You have to finish up your research paper in a few days. There is a party tomorrow, though. What you gonna do about it?
